The night sky has fascinated us all since time began. Explorers crossed deserts and oceans following the stars. We have marvelled at the moon landings and the images coming back of galaxies and planets from far out into space.
Lakelands Library – Thursday 27 August 2026 – 3.30pm – 4.30pm
This hour-long session is designed to spark curiosity and wonder, introducing children to the stars, constellations, and planets through fun interactive learning. At the end of the workshop, each child receives a workbook the whole family can use to enjoy night-time stargazing.
Suitable for ages 5 – 12
Mandurah Library – Friday 28 August 2026 – 6pm – 8pm
This hour-long session is designed to spark curiosity and wonder, introducing children to the stars, constellations, and planets through fun interactive learning. At the end of the workshop, there will be opportunity to star gaze outside and observe the night sky with a telescope viewing.
Suitable for ages 5 – 12. Children will need to be accompanied by parents for outside viewing.
